Almost everything is done. The dinner is tonight and I have everything prepared. All I need to do is the last touches once the guests arrive. Aegisthus has even organised for his friend who works at the airport to be a sort of look out and let us know when their plane gets in so I can time the cooking perfectly. I’m particularly proud of the dessert, to be made from the fruits out of Aegisthus’s backyard. I’ve got to make it once everyone is here but the trial I’ve done with supermarket fruits was delicious. Also, onto the more serious and nerve racking part of tonight, Aegisthus and I decided to tell Agamemnon as soon as possible and to have the dinner at his house in case Agamemnon wants to leave and be alone. I just hope that however he takes it, he doesn’t take it out on Orestes when he sees him. He is so excited for his dad to be back.

A dinner for an army.
So Agamemnon and the Mycenaean representatives are set to come back this week. Agamemnon called for the first time this whole trip to let us know. He said they were successful in whatever it was they were doing over there and that they’d arrive on Saturday night, and that he wanted a dinner prepared for him and his team. I tried to explain that dinner wasn’t a good idea and that we had to talk, but he wouldn’t have a bar of it. It was like he never left. He told me he’d listen if I made the dinner and then hung up. Anyway, I better start organising what to do for food, from what I remember his team is rather large...
